Jewish leaders in Argentine are perturbed over the failure of the American Jewish Congress to send an invitation to the Jewish Community of Argentine to participate in the world Jewish conference in Geneva on August 14th, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns.
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency is also informed that Jewish organizations in the Argentine have never been officially informed that such a conference is to be held and the latter believe that the organized representatives of the large Jewish population in the Argentine should not have been overlooked.
It is estimated that a quarter of a million Jews reside in the Argentine.
