The noted philosopher Dr. Lanza del Vasto, who is now in Buenos Aires, today walked the entire length of State of Israel Street here and cleaned off street signs which had been defaced by vandals. Walking through the street with a ladder and cleaning brush, Dr. del Vasto told reporters: “To be against violence does not mean that one must be passive. One must begin practicing this principle in small measure.”
