A group of non-Jews allegedly engaged in smuggling Jews into Argentina from Uruguay was arrested here today by Argentine police officials.
At the same time a Jewish family caught attempting to enter the country illegally was also detained. According to the police, the smugglers were charging 200 pesos ($30) to get each Jew across the Argentine border.
