The American Jewish Committee delegation touring South America was received yesterday by President Arturo Frondizi who said that the visit had given him a better understanding of the “value of direct communications” between the peoples of Argentina and the United States.
President Frondizi stressed that such direct contacts helped to clarify the realization that political, civil and religious liberty and human rights “are basic fundamentals of our civilization. ” He received the visitors at the Casa Rosada, the President’s residence.
