The principal of a public school for girls here, who is under investigation on charges she segregated Jewish students from Catholics in the school classrooms asserted today that she did so because the Jewish girls were Communists.

Mrs. Maria Teresa Quiroa de Nocetti, offered that alleged justification as the disclosure of the segregation created constantly widening interest. All Argentine daily newspapers were giving extensive coverage to the event. The school is a predominantly Jewish area. The principal is widely known for her anti-Semitic attitudes. A parents committee of Jews and non-Jews is now fighting for her ouster.
