Ariel Sharon is meeting Monday afternoon with President Bush’s national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice. The meeting precedes the Israeli prime minister’s talks Tuesday with Bush. Sharon’s three-day visit follows Bush’s first White House meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority prime minister.
