Ariel Sharon said the Palestinian Authority cannot evade its responsibility to crack down on terrorism. “The demand for the Palestinians to wage a real war against terror cannot be circumvented,” the Israeli prime minister said in a policy speech Monday opening the Knesset’s winter session. “The international community is united in its demand for the Palestinian Authority to carry out all of its commitments, chief among them the disarming of terrorist organizations and prevention of attacks against Israel.”
