The New York Democrat spoke of the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan at a dinner of the Abraham Fund, which works for Arab-Jewish coexistence in Israel. Sharon should understand, Schumer said, that “if America succeeds in dramatically cutting back on terrorism, there’s one other country that will benefit” — Israel.
