Ariel Sharon’s plan for Israeli disengagement from the Palestinians is slated for a Knesset vote Oct. 25. The Israeli prime minister told the Knesset on Monday that he hoped the date was early enough to allow for withdrawals from the Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank in 2005.
