The ambushing of an Israel automobile and the killing of four Israeli engineers on the night of April 23 on the Eilath-Ein Hatzeva Road, near the Jordan border, was an act that “would fill anyone with a sentiment of horrow,” according to a statement issued today in Jerusalem by the chairman of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission.
The statement was made by the chairman in support of a resolution submitted by Israel calling upon Jordanian authorities “to prevent these recurrent attacks against Israel citizens inside Israel territory.”
