The Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission, with the Israel delegation absent, voted today to condemn Israel on two Jordanian charges of armistice pact violation. The Israelis are boycotting the MAC sessions.
The incidents allegedly occurred August 22 and August 25 and involve border crossings, an exchange of fire between Israelis and Jordanians and the planting of a mine inside Jordan. In an appendix to one of the resolutions, the MAC noted that the demarcation line in the area where one of the incidents was said to have occurred had never been settled by the parties.
