More than a thousand young Jews have been arrested during the last few days in Lwow, capital of Eastern Galicia, by the Nazi authorities, it was reliably reported here today.
Simultaneously it was reported from Berlin that in view of the epidemics now raging in the Warsaw ghetto, the authorities have found it necessary to establish a quarantine which starts from Nowolipie street and extends all the way to Lesson, grodowa, Chlodna and Zelianza streets.
