The Esthonian political police will have to explain in court on what basis they formulated charges and arrested Markus Peker, a member of the Jewish National Council of Esthonia.
Mr. Peker was arrested by the Reval police on charges of Communist activities and espionage in favor of Soviet Russia. He was released after several days. Mr. Peker has filed suit against the authorities.
