A caricature unfavorable to Jews was removed from the spring art show at Bratislava following a protest from the Bratislava Jewish community.

The caricature was the work of a drawing instructor at the German gymnasium. The artist, Pinka, showed a large swastika-like spade shovelling unpleasant-looking Jews into Czechoslovakia.
