The Women’s American ORT is sending another remittance of $1,500 to the Polish ORT to enable Jewish artisans to procure “craftsmen’s certificates,” it was announced by Mrs. Florence R. Dolowitz, president.
This is the third remittance toward a fund for $5,000 to help 600 Jewish artisans purchase these certificates, the other two having been $1,500 and $1,0000 respectively.
Mrs. Dolowitz today said that the Women’s American CRT hoped to be able to send the additional $1,000 completing the entire quota of $5,000 within the next few days, when the receipts of a theatre party held recently could be totaled and the results determined.
