Five Jewish artists left Moscow for Biro-Bidjan, where they will paint a series of pictures depicting the life of Jews in that region. They will cover the area and their work will be shown next year in Moscow in a special Biro-Bidjan exhibition.
The decision to organize the trip was arrived at by a conference of well-known Jewish artists, critics and the central committee of the Ozet, Jewish colonization group.
