At the second biennial convention of the New York State Federation of Temple Sisterhoods held in the Assembly Hall of the Temple Emanu-El Tuesday, at which more than 150 delegates from all parts of the State attended, a plea was made for better understanding and good-will between Jews and non-Jews. Mrs. Albert J. May, second vice-president of the Federation, spoke on “The Jew and Judaism.”
At the Federation dinner that evening held in the Isaac M. Wise Memorial Hall of the Temple, Dr. Nathan Krass, Meier Steinbrink, Adolph S. Ochs, Rabbi Irving Reichert and Mrs. D. Goldfarb spoke.
