(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

A request that the Austrian elections be postponed from April 24 was made to the government by the Kchillah Board of Vienna.

The Board pointed out that the last day of Passover falls on April 24 and that on that day “Iskor,” memorial services for the dead, are held in the synagogues. The Jewish voters would therefore be unable to go to the polls.
