“We cannot permit Germany to turn back the clock of civilization,” said Mrs. Mark Harris, president of the Women’s Division of the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League to Champion Human Rights, at the Bronx rally held at the Royal Medical Club yesterday afternoon.
More than 150 women attended. Mrs. M. A. Mason, president of the Physician’s Wives League of the Bronx, presided.
Mrs. Harris asked for support of the boycott, advocating it as the only means of crushing Hitlerism both in Germany and in this country.
Mrs. Julius Ferber, president of the Physicians’ Wives League, supported the appeal made by Mrs. Harris.
