The League of Nations is urged to take under its protection the Jewish minority in Germany, in an editorial which appears today in “La Metropole,” semi-official government organ.
The paper, which is also the official organ of the Catholic Party, states that the rights of the Jews are endangered by the Hitlerites.
The publication asserts that there will be no equality of disarmament for Germany as long as the country fails to give the Jews equality of rights.
