The expansion of Hebrew telegraphy in the Palestine Telegraph System is demanded today in a memorandum submitted to the Mandates Commission of the League of Nations by Israel Amikah, a private citizen of Palestine who is a telegraph expert.
This is the third memorandum submitted by Mr. Amikah to the Mandates Commission.
Acting upon his previous memorandums, the commission decided that the Palestine government should install a telegraphic system in Palestine enabling transmission of messages in Hebrew. Following this decision, the government introduced Hebrew telegraphy in only a few Palestine cities. Mr. Amikah, in his memorandum today, demands that the system be extended throughout the entire country.
