The Socialist weekly Forward expresses wonder that nobody has suggested the internment of Fritz Thyssen, self-exiled German industrialist who financed Hitler.

“Herr Thyssen, the millionaire who financed Hitler, is now getting great publicity for his attacks the Fuehrer,” the newspaper comments. “But while there is an outcry against Jewish refugees on the grounds that some of them may be spies, nobody has suggested that the millionaire who made Hitler should be interned at Dartmouth.”
