Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Edward Walker said that Arab leaders have a “general willingness to consider alternative solutions to the core Jerusalem problem.” Walker, who returned from a 14-nation trip to the Middle East to report to Arab leaders on the Israeli-Palestinian talks held at Camp David, said several countries, including Egypt, promised to help resolve outstanding issues.
