At least nine Palestinians were killed in Israeli army operations in the Gaza Strip on Monday. Seven people were killed and 18 wounded in a raid in the Nusseirat refugee camp. Israel said the dead included a wanted Islamic Jihad member who was involved in several terrorist attacks. Two other Palestinians were reported killed in an Israeli army operation in northern Gaza.
