At least six people were injured in unrelated attacks over the weekend by German neo-Nazis. Last year, right-wing violence reached its highest level in Germany since the 1990 unification of the country, according to a Berlin newspaper. Federal officials cited a total of 11,720 hate crimes and racist- motivated attacks in 1997, a nearly 25 percent increase over the previous year.
