One hundred and fifty members of the Boys’ Club Department of the Jewish Educational Alliance were hosts to their fathers at a program of boxing bouts, athletic exhibitions, comedy skits, talks and musical numbers in observance of Father and Son Night.
Speakers on the program, arranged by Barney Medintz, boys’ worker at the Community Center, included A. L. Myers Sr., a member of the board of directors and local Boy Scout commissioner; Al Loeb, former Georgia Tech football star, chairman of the institution’s athletic program; Rabbi Harry H. Epstein, and David Gershon, leader in youth activities.
