Atlanta Jewry is mourning the death of Victor H. Kriegshaber, for forty-five years a leader in business, cultural and civic life of this city and an outstanding Jewish personality in the South. Mr. Kriegshaber, founder of V. H. Kriegshaber and Son, president of the Hebrew Orphans’ Home and prominently identified with the National Conference of Jewish Social Service, was also a member of B’nai B’rith; president of the Atlanta Philharmonic Society up to the time of his death and in 1916 president of the Chamber of Commerce.
