ATLANTIC CITY FEDERATION IS FIRST TO SURPASS ITS 1953 DRIVE
The Atlantic City Federation of Jewish Charities won the distinction today of being the first American Jewish community to surpass its 1953 campaign total.
With its campaign still incomplete, the federation announced receipts to date of $322,865 as compared to a total of $321, 068 in 1953. Completion of the campaign may see the 1953 total exceeded by about ten percent. Dr. Edward R. Knight heads the Atlantic City drive. Irving Spivack is the executive director.
