The Federal Government today granted an application of the Jewish Welfare Society to permit a number of German Jewish youths between the ages of 16 and 18 to enter Australia to be trained as rural workers. A similar application for domestics was refused until the society provides positions for the prospective immigrants. It is believed that this sympathetic consideration marks a definite policy toward German-Jewish applications.
