Australia can deport former Nazi war criminals who immigrated to Australia between 1949 and 1958, according to a legal opinion prepared for the Australian prosecutor’s office. The report contradicts claims by Australia’s government that individuals involved in crimes against humanity cannot be deported if they have lived in Australia as permanent residents or citizens for at least 10 years.
