Bookings for the Hollywood film, “Sword in the Desert,” which deals with the “illegal” immigration of Jews to Palestine prior to the establishment of Israel, have been cancelled, it was revaeled today.
The action was taken by Australian distributors following receipt here of reports of the film’s reception in London, where its showing was cancelled after a theatoo was subjected to the explosion of smoke bombs and the release of live rats among the audionce.
