The Foreign Ministry announced today the signing of a trade agreement between Israel and Austria providing for relaxation of some customs and designed to expand commerce between the two nations.
Israel imported from Austria last year $1, 300, 000 worth of goods, chiefly iron, timber, yarn and tools. Israel sold Austria $600, 000 worth of goods, chiefly citrus fruit.
