The Austro-Jewish talks on Jewish claims for restitution, indemnification and heirless property, which began here Tuesday, continued today in two separate meetings.
In one session, Jewish negotiators met with a delegation from the Austrian Finance Ministry to discuss legislation designed to restore the pensions of former Jewish civil servants, and other social legislation. Another committee discussed compensation payments for confiscated apartments and homes and for the destruction of synagogues. The latter discussion was held with representatives of the Social Ministry.
