The Austrian Government extended today the time limits for registration by victims of the Nazi era in Austria to receive compensation under the Austrian West German agreement.
The extension, which is for one year, was set to meet demands of many of the victims, particularly Austrians now living in other countries, for additional time to register. The new deadline is March 31, 1964. Under the agreement, West Germany agreed to contribute a substantial sum to a funds pool for such payments.
