Austria’s Parliament unanimously approved a compensation package for Jews whose property was stolen by the Nazis, giving legal basis to an agreement reached in Washington two weeks ago. “No money in the world can replace what was taken from people by force during the Nazi period,” Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel said.
