Authorized circles tonight denied reports from Cairo that the London conference on Palestine had been postponed to early February, after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain’s return from Rome. These sources, however, were less certain than previously about the date of the conference, which some now believed might be held in the third instead of the second week of January.
