Vladimir Jabotinsky, Revisionish leader now visiting this country, will address American Jewish students at the auditorium of the downtown branch of City College, Lexington avenue and Twenty-third street, on Saturday evening, March 2, under the auspices of the Manhattan chapter of Avukah, it was announced Friday by Isadore Solkoff, cultural chairman of the Manhattan district.
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob De Haas and Rabbi and Mrs. Louis I. Newman will be hosts Sunday afternoon to the members of the Jacobinsky inter-university reception committee at the home of Miss Judith Grabelsky, 251 West Ninety-second street.
The committee has been organized to welcome Jabotinsky on behalf of Jewish student youth in this country at the coming City College meeting. The body comprises more than sixty students and graduates.
The appearance of the Revisionist leader under the auspices of Avukah is part of a program of lectures which has been arranged by the organization. Spokesmen for the various Zionist factions will expound their views.
Avukah, the American Student Zionist Federation, devotes itself to cultural work among Jewish college and university students. Julius Fischbach, New York University alumnus, is president of the Manhattan chapter.
