Ayalon quits Labor Party
Former Shin Bet security service head Ami Ayalon announced his resignation from Israel‘s Labor Party.
Ayalon, who was a close second in last year’s race for party leader, is considering whether to join another left-wing party or the center Kadima Party.
Meanwhile, Lt.-Gen. (res.) Moshe Ya’alon, the former army chief of general staff, remains undecided about whether to enter politics, despite rumors that he would join the Likud Party on Sunday.
