Sherwood and Rabbi Leo Baeck, former chief rabbi of Berlin, at a dinner here May 1. The awards are made annually to men who have made significant contributions to the cause of human rights and freedom.
The three men to be honored at the fifth annual World Brotherhood Dinner were selected by the Seminary’s faculty and board of directors “in appreciation of their great contribution to the concept of human rights and human freedom and to the fine example they have set in their dedication to cause of human equality and brotherhood.”
