Through its president, Walter Sondheim, the Associated Jewish Charities of Baltimore has announced that it will conduct a campaign for funds in the Fall of this year. The decision was made at a special meeting of the executive committee called for the purpose of discussing the advisability of taking this step. At this meeting also the week of November 9 was determined upon as the date for the campaign.
According to Mr. Sondheim, increased demands and pressure being put upon the agencies of the Associated Jewish Charities are such that increased funds must be raised in order to carry on adequately the work of the organizations.
The last campaign of the Associated Jewish Charities was held in November, 1928, at which time $590,000 was subscribed.
