A resolution calling for a city-wide congress of all of the organizations of Orthodox Jews to take the necessary steps for giving those who want it an opportunity of observing the Jewish Sabbath was adopted at the fifth annual meeting of the Council of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of Baltimore. Opposition to any change in the present calendar was voiced in another resolution.
