The new officers of the Baltimore Zionist District and directors of the board will be elected at the annual public meeting, October 10, it was announced yesterday. In addition to the usual number of officers to be selected to guide the destinies of Baltimore Zionism for the ensuing year, a board of fifty directors will be chosen. These directors are selected from the general membership roster of the Baltimore Zionist District.
Harry T. Kellman, president of the Baltimore Zionist District will submit the annual report. This year will mark the eleventh year of continuous active Zionist leadership of Mr. Kellman, under whose regime many important Zionist events took place in Baltimore. Under Mr. Kellman’s direction approximately $900,000 was raised for all Palestine causes, exclusive of private investments in the Holy Land.
