Jews must not be hired as assistants or apprentices in the book-selling business, since “non-Aryans” are not eligible to membership in the Reichspublication Chamber, the Nazi government ordered today.

Silesian Jewish book sellers, who specialize in supplying Jewish customers only, were, however, exempted.
