Ban on Press Jobs for Refugees Lifted in Lithuania; Repatriation Talks Set

The authorities today announced removal of a ban on employment of refugees in local and foreign newspaper work.

A German delegation has arrived here to negotiate with regard to repatriation of refugees and interned Poles to German-occupied Poland. From 3,000 to 5,000 persons are affected.

The Government has withdrawn its suspension of the Revisionist weekly Nayer Veg, one of six Jewish newspapers suspended because of a paper shortage.

Israel Bernstein, special representative of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of New York has arrived here for a stay of several weeks. He will survey the refugee situation both here and in Wilno.
