The New York branch of Bank Leumi Le-Israel, Israel’s oldest and largest bank, announced today the appointment of Avraham Bar-El, Albert J. Piccirillo and Alfred G. Ruehle as vice-presidents.
Mr. Bar-E1, who joined the Bank in 1963, was formerly Israel Consul of Economic Affairs in Toronto and director for Canada of the Israel Government Investment Authority. Mr. Piccirillo is the son of the late New York City Commissioner Joseph Piccirillo. Mr. Ruehle is a trustee of the Kings Highway Savings Bank and former vice-president of Bankers Trust Company.
