The Jewish Bar Association of this city today decided to demand that the Palestine Government, in view of the rioting in Jaffa, transfer all juridical institutions from that city to Tel Aviv.
It was also decided that members of the association would not appear before a Jaffa magistrate for a period of two months because of the dangers involved.
Merchants presented a memorandum to the District Commissioner requesting him to advise Jewish stevedores to unload the cargoes of newly arrived ships and to transfer all goods from the harbor to Tel Aviv. If Arab workers, as a result of the strike, refuse to participate in this work, the memorandum stated, the Jewish merchants are prepared to send their own workers and lighters to aid in the unloading.
