Computers at Bar Ilan University were damaged by water last night when firemen fought a blaze in the building that houses them. The fire, attributed to a short circuit, broke out at midnight. It damaged the second floor where the library and research rooms are located. The computers, under repair today by technicians, were not touched by the fire. Bar Ilan University announced only yesterday that the US government has approved a grant of $118,000 for the second stage of its project to store Hebrew response and selected decisions of Israel’s Supreme Court in its computer bank.
