The Palestine government today sent a delegation to Syria to negotiate changes in the trade agreement between Palestine and Syria which has been in existence since 1929. William Joseph Johnson, treasurer of the Palestine government, is heading the delegation.
The delegation was sent as a result of the recent visit of the Palestine High Commissioner to Syria. It was during this visit that the Syrian authorities agreed to negotiate changes in the existing pact.
