Deputy Streicher, Member of the Bavarian Diet, will have to defend himself in court for an anti-Jewish libel he published under his signature in the “Stuermer,” organ of rabid anti-Semites.

The Diet voted today to lift the immunity of Deputy Streicher. The suit was started because of Streicher’s publication of an article in which he asserted that the German student, Daube, for whose murder his chum, another German student is being tried, was the victim of ritual murder of Jews.
