Dr. Philip S. Auerbach, Bavarian Commissioner for racial and political persecutees, today called for mass demonstrations throughout the American zone of Germany Saturday in protest against the bombing last night of the Commission’s office here.
In his call for the meetings, Dr. Auerbach said: “We anti-fascists call on you in the name of democracy to units in a single front of all decent people against Nazidom which is trying to prevent the reconstruction of our country and wishes to ruin us once again.”
One bomb was thrown into the ground floor of the office, doing slight damage. There were no injuries and no arrests.
